7 Reasons Why Your Business Needs a New Website

A few years ago, your business could rely on word of mouth, outdoor signage, and TV and radio ads to get new clients and grow revenue. But with the rise of digital marketing, those days are over. Now is the time to engage with your audience online—and the first place your prospects and customers are going to in order to check you out is your website. Is it working for you?

Here are seven reasons why your company could benefit from ditching the old and building something new. You can use SaaS development by IT Dev Group

It’s Cheap

Sure, you probably saved a couple of bucks by building your business website yourself, using a template, or getting your cousin’s kid to do it, but unfortunately, people can tell. If your current site was developed and designed by an amateur, it probably doesn’t appropriately reflect the quality of your brand and won’t give you the results you expect. Let the professionals create a new website for your business—one that’s flawless and effective at helping you achieve your goals.

It Isn’t Mobile Friendly

More than fifty percent of online activity is taking place on smartphones and tablets, and this number is only expected to grow. As such, it’s absolutely essential for your website to be mobile friendly. Your pages need to display appropriately on smaller screens that are navigated with touch. If not, your text might be unreadable, your images might get distorted, and your links might be difficult to click. No one will stay on your website and deal with these issues—they’ll go straight to your competitor’s mobile-friendly site for a better user experience.

It’s Not Optimized for Search Engines

If your business website isn’t SEO friendly, you’re not going to get a high rank on search engines like Google, Yahoo!, and Bing. When you have a low rank, your website might show up on the fifth, tenth, or hundredth page of search results, which will make it unlikely that prospects and customers will find you. With a new website that’s SEO friendly, you can generate more leads.

It Has No Fresh Content

Content is key to a successful inbound marketing campaign. If your website doesn’t leave room for you to upload fresh content consistently, it’s going to hurt your business. With a new website, you can add a blog, a section for news updates, whitepapers, ebooks, case studies, infographics, and videos, or any other type of content that your audience will be interested in. This will help you widen the search terms you can use for SEO, position you as a thought leader, and attract prospects who are looking for information.

It’s Hard to Navigate

User-friendliness and ease of navigation are critical elements of your website. If your prospects and customers have to spend too much time to find what they’re looking for, they’ll give up and move on to your competitor’s site. There are simply too many choices in the marketplace for them to waste their time. But drastically changing your website’s navigation can be difficult and complex—so it’s much easier to just create a brand new website from scratch.

It Feels Outdated

An outdated website can cost you significant business, even if you’re at the top of your field. It can turn off your prospects and customers, damage your credibility, and ruin your image. If you use animated gifs, auto-play music, a flash intro, and out-of-date plugins, it’s time for a new website. A brand new website can bring you into the modern day—so your image isn’t stuck in 1995.

It Contains Old Business Information

Your company has likely grown over the years and if your website hasn’t grown side by side with you, it probably doesn’t represent your company effectively. You’ve added new services, dropped others, and changed staff members—have these changes been reflected in your site? If not, it’s time for a new website.

How Social Media Can Help You Get New Customers

Of course, by now, you’re familiar with social media. You might have a Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram account of your own. But these social platforms aren’t just a great way to interact with your long-distance family members and friends, share what you ate for breakfast that morning, and post photos of your latest workout. They’re also effective channels to use in your company’s online marketing strategy. In fact, these platforms can help get you new customers. And as you know, the bigger your customer base, the more profits you’ll enjoy.

Here are some of the ways that social media can help you get new customers.

Gain Brand Exposure

Small and mid-sizes companies have difficulty getting new customers because people aren’t familiar with their brands. The first step to getting more customers is to get your name out there and get some exposure, so people can familiarize themselves with your company, your products, and your services.

LinkedIn is the best platform to broadcast your message to other businesses in B2B marketing, while Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram are ideal for sharing your brand with consumers in B2C marketing.

The more people get to know your business—because you’re actively creating and sharing content and interacting in online communities, the more likely they are to turn into customers down the line.

Wider Reach

When you’re posting an ad on a billboard, you’re limiting yourself to the audience within that geographical area. When you’re cold calling prospects, you’re limiting yourself to the names on your list. And when you’re sending out mailed brochures, you’re limiting yourself to the people whose contact information you already have.

What if you could widen your reach in order to interact with people all over the city, the country, and the world? You can do so with social media. There are no boundaries when it comes to these virtual communities and networks. Social media is a critical business tool because it allows you to reach new audiences far and wide, so you can increase your customer base. You can generate a wealth of new leads—and you can do so for free.

Build Trust and Credibility

In today’s digital world, buyers are more skeptical than ever before. They don’t trust ads or sales people. They are far more likely to listen to your message and believe what you’re saying if they’re finding information about your company, products, or services on their own.

So let them find what they’re looking for by posting consistently and frequently on these social platforms. Social media is a great way for you to build that trust that is now required to get new customers. You can share informative and educational content and establish an authoritative presence that will lead to better thought leadership, and in turn, more sales.

Creating and Maintaining Relationships

People crave interaction. They don’t want to deal with robots—they want to deal with humans. And when you create a presence on social media, you can humanize your brand. This will allow you to create and maintain critical relationships with prospects and customers. Join online communities and groups, post your thoughts and knowledge, and answer questions. The relationships you build through these activities will lead to strong loyalty for your brand.

Boost Your Organic Rank

When consumers have a problem or need, they go to the internet to find a solution. Their first stop, usually, is a search engine. Being active on social media and having your content shared on these platforms can help you get a higher online rank. And this will help you get found more easily on search engines in order to increase traffic to your website, which you can then convert into customers.

5 Things You Should Know about Marketing Consulting Firms

Developing your own marketing campaign can be costly and time consuming—far more than you initially expect. It can also be more confusing than you expect. Who do you target? Which of the dozens of marketing strategies should you choose? How do you track your results? Marketing is a complex area of business and it takes real expertise to be able to do it well so you see positive results.

Each company needs a unique marketing campaign that is tailored to its business goals. So simply going online to find a decent marketing campaign to copy can be useless and even devastating to your company’s profitability and productivity. That’s why it might be best to look into marketing consulting firms to do the work for you. But before you engage one of these marketing consulting firms, here are five things you should know.

Read this: Discovered - Amazing Ways to Grow Revenue with Your Blog

1. Field of Expertise

Because marketing is a vast area, you need to understand what your marketing needs are before you commit to any one agency. All marketing consulting firms will have their own unique fields of expertise, so you need to find one that excels at the type of marketing you’re looking to implement. If you’re looking to delve into TV or radio marketing or you’re looking to market online, you’ll come up with drastically different agency options. Understanding your goals will help you find the right agency for you.

2. Industry

Every industry has its unique traits. Marketing techniques that work for one industry can be completely useless for another. That’s why it’s important to find marketing consulting firms that specialize in the industry you’re in. Industry-specific firms are more knowledgeable in your field than agencies that claim to focus on any and all types of businesses. In the end, these types of agencies won’t have the in-depth understanding and familiarity of your industry you need for an effective marketing campaign. They won’t be able to tailor your campaign specifically to your company.

3. Commitment

Not every agency is the same. Some focus on providing you with part-time, short-term service while others are in it for the long haul. Of course, the time commitment you choose to get out of your consulting firm will affect the fees you’re going to be charged, but marketing isn’t a quick and easy fix to revenue issues—it’s a long-term commitment. It takes time to get the campaign out into the world to see results, so you need to keep the time commitment in mind when you’re looking at prices—don’t just focus on the dollar signs or you might end up with a rush job that isn’t as successful as it could have been.

4. Communication

Marketing consulting firms are experts at what they do. After all, that’s why companies engage them. It’s important to trust their advice and guidance—they have information and knowledge about marketing that you don’t. They understand what works and what doesn’t.

However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t speak up if you’re uncertain about a strategy that the agency wants to implement. The key to a successful consulting relationship is great communication. Your consulting professionals should be discussing all strategies with you ahead of time and discussing their benefits and weaknesses with you. They are simply consultants—you are the one who ultimately makes the decisions. So make sure you take customer service and communication into account.

5. Creativity

Marketing consulting firms should have creative people on staff. If, during your search, you see that a consultant is always using the same website design and the same strategies for each client he works for, chances are he’s not creative (or he’s just lazy). So, you can expect that he won’t put any creativity into your marketing campaign either. Instead, he’ll use a cookie cutter campaign for every client, and that simply doesn’t meet your unique needs. Creativity is a must in marketing.

How to build Backlinks for new website?

How to build backlink for New website

I know as a newbie in digital marketing everyone think like you after hearing about backlinks.

You, me and everyone in digital marketing know, backlinks are mandatory to increase website rank in the search engine.

After hearing to

More backlinks=higher rank

More backlinks is equal to higher rank

you will open your laptop to build backlinks and dreamed to rank your website in days, your mind stops you with a question.

How–to-build-backlinks?

It is common for beginner in Digital marketing to feel like above.

 but

Don’t worry in this article I am going to help in explaining the link building process and “HOW TO BUILD BACKLINKS FOR NEW WEBSITE IN 2019?”

Before discussing about “HOW TO BUILD BACKLINKS?”, let’s give brief on

WHAT IS A BACKLINK ?

WHAT ARE THE TYPES OF BACKLINKS?

Backlink:

Backlink is defined as link connected to a website from another website or webpage.

For Example:

Let’s consider there are two websites on fitness, website A give link to website B as reference point from its post on ( How to lose weight in 5 days) website B post( list of exercises to burn fat) as reference/helpful content.

In the above context, Website B has one backlink from website A.

After reading above context, you may think

OKAY FINE, getting link from another website is backlinks

Let’s create blog on free platform like blogspot, wordpress, weebly etc., and build backlink for my website and rank well on Google As quick as possible

haa haa haa..

but your idea doesn’t workout

The reasons behind are

  • Backlinks from quality websites are useful.
  • link must be Do-follow links, No follow link has no value for search engine ranking.

With above things creating number of links is waste of time.

Keep in mind

One High quality backlink is more valuable than thousands of low quality backlinks.

After hearing about “DO-FOLLOW” and “NO-FOLLOW”,

You may think

What are they?

Here it

Do follow link:

do follow link syntax

Links coming from other web page with anchor attribute rel value as follow(rel=”follow”) is called as Do follow link.

Link with no rel attribute is also considered as Do follow link

No follow link:

no follow link syntax

Link with rel value is equal to no follow considered as NO FOLLOW link.

Normally people used to mention rel=”no follow” to mention as NO FOLLOW LINK, there is no need to mention rel attribute for do follow links.

I have a question for you.

Why you need do follow link?

You need do follow link because Google will consider websites with do follow link as trusted and useful website to show as search query results.

Websites with more do follow backlink will higher in search results.

Google will not consider NO follow links to rank your website content.

NO FOLLOW links are only useful to drive traffic to your website.

Ex: Links from social media platforms, quora are all no follow links.

So to rank your website on Google search results, you should build quality backlinks to your website.

Here comes the main problem

As a new websites with less content, no one wants to give backlinks to your website.

then

“HOW CAN YOU BUILD BACKLINKS FOR YOUR NEW WEBSITE?” as Newbie

Here are the solutions for your problem.

1.Quality content:

Everyone likes quality content from users to other blog in your niche.

If your website/blog has quality and useful content, people will give backlink to your web content to help their audiences/customers.

2.Visual Content:

Attractive visual not only engage readers but it will bring backlinks to your website.

By converting your content into attractive Infographic, you can make other bloggers to use your infographic in their blog to describe the content to their audience.

As a perspective of digital copyright, they need to mention your website to avoid copyright problem.

3. Email reach out:

Promoting your content is more important after creating content to drive traffic to your website.

Email reach out is one of the best option for that.

Go to Google search engine and search for the blog post related to your blog post and request the blog author to give backlink to your website.

You need to pitch in natural way to show benefits of linking.

Ex: Good morning Mike,

I have create attractive infographic on  (Topic name).Checkout the infographic and use it in your blog if it is useful for you.

Thank you
